Calistoga

Calistoga is located at the top of the famed Napa Valley north of San Francisco. Founded by Sam Brannan, California's first millionaire as a hot springs resort, it retains both its spas, shops and restaurants and it's historic small town character.
The City of Calistoga is located 80 miles North of San Francisco in Napa Valley. Calistoga is found at the top of the Napa Valley, at the foot of Mt. St. Helena, which rises 4500 feet above the city. Calistoga's population is 5,000 and is a popular destination for tourists who wish to visit Wine Country.
Other than wine; Calistoga is famous for its hot springs and mineral water and is home to Old Faithful Geyser. Calistoga is also the site of the Napa County Fairgrounds where the county fair and other events are held annually.
