Scoma's Restaurant
Scoma's Restaurant, in the heart of Sausalito, offers romantic views of San Francisco Bay and
superb fresh seafood and pasta dishes from its waterfront location.
A Historic Sausalito Landmark
Since the late 19th century this Victorian building, with its stunning bay view, has graced the Sausalito waterfront.
Originally known as "Lange's Launches," pictured in this 1890s photo, it was the site of a well-established tugboat and ferry service.
Known during the 1940s as the raucous "Tin Angel," in 1951 it became a Sausalito favorite, "The Glad Hand."
Over Thirty Year Tradition of Quality & Service
Scoma's history dates back to the late1960's when it was established after the widening of Bridgeway, the main street running through Sausalito.
It was purchased by Al Scoma, from the internationally famous Scoma's at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, and Victor and Roland Gotti, former owners for 65 years of the famous Ernie's Restaurant and Lark Creek Inn.
From that moment to the present, it's not hard to imagine why Scoma's is invariably filled to capacity.
Diners can be seen enjoying superb fresh seafood and authentic Italian dishes, all served in an intimate Victorian setting along with a romantic view of San Francisco and the Bay.
