Outback Patio:
Ludy’s “Outback” Patio is a wonderful oasis and the perfect place to spend an afternoon or host a party.
The brick fireplace and babbling brook contribute to the serene ambience. Whether you’re here for just a casual meal, or want to have us cater your event, the “Outback” patio is the place to be! Up to 100 people can be seated, rain or shine. In the winter it’s covered and heated, so you’ll be comfortable no matter what the temperature is outside.

Ludy’s is home of the “First Cat”
When you come to visit us and are enjoying your meal on our Outback Patio, don’t be surprised, when you look up, to see a red ceramic cat sitting in the rafters. Ludy’s was chosen to be the recipient of the first sculpture. Recently, the Woodland’s Planning Commission approved having a series of ceramic cats placed discreetly along Dead Cat Alley.
Expected to be finished by May 2006, the cats will be placed in 13 spots, including trees and on top of buildings. The cats will be coated in a medley of colors - oranges, whites, reds - and glazed with a shiny finish.
They are part of a revitalization of the Historical District that includes forthcoming murals and a turn-of-the century clock in the Heritage Plaza
The cats, each made of 5 pounds of white clay, will color the downtown, noted for its 19th century history, city planners say. The area is home to red-brick landmarks such as the Opera House and Heritage Plaza.
Come see what the fuss is all about…
