Learn New Skills with a Team Building Event

Companies strive to reinforce team-work and camaraderie among their personnel. Sailing provides the perfect atmosphere to develop leadership, decision making and communication skills while building employees into a cohesive, cooperative team in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. We'll instill self-confidence, expand the mind and work the body as you learn to sail the boat, develop navigation skills, read the wind and discover the fun of sailing and working as part of a team.

Sailing Regattas

Let Bay Breeze Charters organize a fun-filled, exciting sailing regatta for your large group. This program divides participants into groups of six to learn the basics of sailing and teamwork with a captain/facilitator on separate yachts (35 to 40 foot). Each team boat leaves the starting line and competes with each other as they sail the regatta race course. As with our team building event each individual will develop leadership skills, explore group dynamics and learn to work together in strategic and tactical planning. Sailing regattas can be organized as a half-day or full day event with a Barbecue on Angel Island after the race.

Angel Island barbeque

Let us sail your group to the beautiful and historic Angel Island State Park for a fun-filled Barbecue style picnic. Foot and bike trails wind through this wonderful grass and forest covered island, providing easy access to the hills for spectacular views of Marin County, San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. The island's wildlife is wonderfully diverse; both land and sea species can be seen and heard. Visit the many historical sites such as the immigration station, built in 1905, or the museum in the old barracks building of 1893. Play volleyball, touch football, frisbee or just relax and beach comb in delightful Ayala Cove. While your group is working up an appetite exploring this scenic, natural environment our caterers will prepare a fabulous feast for your enjoyment. After your meal we'll re-board the yacht for another great sail returning home. A fantastic way to celebrate a special occasion, family reunion or company picnic.

Weddings

What could be more romantic than exchanging your wedding vows in an intimate setting aboard a luxury yacht with the spectacular San Francisco skyline, Golden Gate Bridge or Angel Island in the background. Bring your own minister or have the captain perform the ceremony. We'll help you coordinate all aspects of your special occasion,--right down to the smallest detail.

Memorial Ash Scatterings

Many friends and loved ones desire cremation and wish their remains to be scattered at sea. Bay Breeze Charters is available to help you fulfill this request. We'll sail your family and friends to an appropriate place on the Bay or ocean for the memorial service. Call for more information and details.
Two hour ash scatterings can be booked for $600 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM.
Regular rates apply for memorials scheduled after 11:30 AM.

Celebrations and Theme/Holiday Parties

What a great way to celebrate an anniversary, engagement or birthday sailing on the San Francisco Bay. Let us take care of the special arrangements and details. All you need to do is invite the guests and enjoy your party. Theme parties such as a Mexican Fiesta theme for a sail on Cinco De Mayo or a New Orleans theme during Mardi Gras can be arranged. The options are endless once you consider of all the holidays: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Halloween, and Christmas/Hanukkah parties.
